Fifa bans Mohamed Bin Hammam from football for life – video

Fifa says Mohamed Bin Hammam, the former presidential candidate embroiled in corruption allegations, has resigned from all his positions in football and has been banned from the game for life. Bin Hammam, who was head of the Asian Football Confederation, was previously banned in 2011 over allegations of bribery during a bid to oust Sepp Blatter as Fifa chief. His latest ban comes after a report from Fifa's ethics committee exposed several violations of the Fifa Code of Ethics. Bin Hammam claims he is innocent of corruption charges and says they have emerged since he challenged Blatter's leadership
